About the SAVE Program

in determining an applicant’s immigration status, thereby helping to ensure that only entitled applicants
receive federal, state or local public benefits and licenses. It is important to note that the SAVE Program
does not make determinations regarding an applicant's eligibility for a specific benefit or license; only
the benefit granting agency can make such determinations.
