Your Use of the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) Program’s Case Check

Your use of SAVE Case Check is for the sole purpose of learning about the status of immigration information requests submitted by a participating federal, state or local public agency. By using this service, you agree that you will not submit SAVE case status information that relates to anyone other than yourself. You also agree that you will not run a Case Check at the request of another party or attempt to use the results of your Case Check to prove to another party that you are authorized to receive any benefit.

About the SAVE Program

The SAVE Program is an intergovernmental initiative that aids participating benefit-granting agencies in determining an applicant’s immigration status, thereby helping to ensure that only entitled applicants receive federal, state or local public benefits and licenses. It is important to note that the SAVE Program does not make determinations regarding an applicant's eligibility for a specific benefit or license; only the benefit granting agency can make such determinations.

Information You Submit

Information concerning individual transactions and the transaction results from the Case Check will not be recorded or maintained in any database or other system of record. Because Case Check does not require or accept any personally identifiable information, no such information is recorded or maintained.

Intellectual Property

USCIS assumes no responsibility regarding the decision by the participating federal, state or local agency whether to grant or deny the application for the benefit in question. Any questions regarding eligibility for such benefits should be directed toward the benefit granting agency.

USCIS does not guarantee the availability of the Case Check, nor for it to be operational nor to be available to the general public. The user assumes all risks of accuracy, operational status and of the availability of the Case Check service.
